Own an EV charging station in Kerala

You fund the station and own it. Flash builds it, connects it to KSEB, puts it in the app and runs it. No staff, no daily management, no technical work on your side.

What a Flash station projects to earn

The table below is what each station size projects at a realistic level of use, after grid cost, the platform share and internet, on an owned site with no land rent. These are projections based on stated assumptions, not guaranteed returns. Your actual income follows how busy your site is.

What your station can earn

Drag the dial to your expected traffic. Figures are net income to you - after electricity, network and internet costs. Deliberately conservative; a busy highway or town site usually earns more.

Shaded band = a realistic, comfortable minimum for most sites.

50%

Daytime power is cheaper and sold lower; night is higher. 50/50 is typical.

Your site

Own the site and you keep all the net income.

You own it. We run it.

This is not a franchise where you are handed equipment and left to operate it. Flash takes the whole operating burden, which is why the station needs no staff and no management from you.

Site study

We assess your land or leased site for traffic, grid availability and approach, and tell you honestly whether it will earn.

KSEB connection

We handle the KSEB application, the EV tariff connection and the approvals end to end. This is the step most owners find hardest.

Installation

Civil work, canopy, cabling, distribution board and charger commissioning, built to the same specification as every Flash station.

App and billing

Your station goes live in the Flash app. Drivers find it, scan and pay, and collections are tracked per session.

Operations and maintenance

Remote monitoring, servicing and fault response are ours, not yours. The station is unmanned and runs itself.

Monthly payout

Your share of the collections reaches you monthly, with a statement of units delivered and revenue earned.

The network already exists

14 Flash stations are operating across 10 districts in Kerala, with 6 more opening. You can visit any of them before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

How much can an EV charging station in Kerala earn?

On the assumptions in the calculator on this page, a 30 kW station serving 6 cars a day projects about ₹45,600 a month, and a 120 kW station at 22 cars a day about ₹1,68,600 a month, after grid cost, platform share and internet. These are projections, not guaranteed returns, and depend on how busy your site actually is.

Who handles the KSEB licence and connection?

Flash does. We manage the KSEB application, the EV tariff connection and the approvals as part of the turnkey installation. The connection is taken in a way that keeps the station operable and transferable.

Do I need to own land to have a Flash station?

No. Owned land avoids rent and improves your return, but a leased site works. The calculator on this page lets you enter a monthly rent and see the effect on the net.

Do I have to run the station myself?

No. Flash stations are unmanned. There is no staff to hire, no daily management and no shift roster. Monitoring, servicing and fault response are handled by Flash remotely and on site.

What size station should I choose?

It follows the site. A highway or town site with steady passing traffic supports 60 kW to 120 kW. A quieter location is better matched to 30 kW. We recommend a size after the site study rather than before it.

What does a Flash station cost to set up?

Cost depends on the charger size, the grid connection needed at your site and the civil work involved. We quote it after the site study, so the figure reflects your actual site rather than an average. Send an enquiry and we will walk you through it.

How long does it take to go live?

The variable is the KSEB connection, which depends on the load sanctioned and the work needed at your site. Installation and commissioning once power is available is the shorter part of the timeline.
